ECX Fabric portal users can view detailed information for each port location. ECX Fabric port utilization statistics (such as inbound and outbound traffic) are updated routinely on a five-minute basis.
The following information is available within the Ports tab:
- Port name
- Port type

Port type defines if a port is single port or Link aggregation (LAG). LAG port is group of multiple parallel physical ports combined to increase throughput beyond the limit one physical port can achieve. ECX supports LAG of 8 physical ports. A customer can add physical ports or remove few physical ports in a LAG group without interrupting existing connections on LAG port. A LAG group should have minimum of one (1) physical port and maximum eight (8) physical ports. LAG port can be ordered through ECP or Siebel.
